Sticky Solar Power Joins the India-Sweden Innovations’ Accelerator Program

We are excited to announce that Sticky Solar Power has been accepted into the India-Sweden Innovations’ Accelerator, a prestigious program sponsored by the Swedish Energy Agency and Business Sweden. This initiative aims to foster collaboration between Swedish and Indian companies in the renewable energy sector, driving innovation and sustainable solutions.

As part of the program, we successfully completed our first delegation trip to India in October 2024. During this visit, we engaged with key stakeholders in the solar industry, including solar cell and module manufacturers as well as material suppliers. Our goal is to explore the potential of launching our innovative tape solution, designed to enable low-cost and high-efficiency solar module production. Additionally, we are investigating the feasibility of manufacturing our tape in India, ensuring a 100% “Made in India” solution tailored for the local market.

Our journey took us to major industrial hubs such as Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Surat, and Bangalore, where we met with leading companies including Tata Power, Waaree, Goldi Solar, Saatvik, and many more. These interactions have provided invaluable insights into the Indian solar market and have opened doors for future collaborations.

Looking ahead, our next delegation trip is scheduled for April 2025. This visit will focus on strengthening relationships with companies we previously engaged with and exploring new partnerships to further expand our presence in India.
